These guys were just FANTASTIC every step of the way. Clear about the process, reasonably-priced, and most of all, every single employee was SUPER NICE. They got all our stuff from NY to Florida at the earliest possible date in their estimated range. I couldn't recommend them any more than I am -- they're simply wonderful!

Rudy and Mike, with great strength, gently, swiftly and with precision moved all our stuff from Garden City, NY to Leicester NC. We Highly recommend LM & Sons.Anthony and the whole office staff are very pleasant, always communicative and most importantly very accurate with the estimated cost of the move. At a very reasonable cost and ease of service all around, we highly recommend LM&Sons for local (also great experience) and long distance moves!

Excellent from beginning to end! We can’t say enough about our experience and all the staff—Frank the estimator Anthony and the pickup crew JJ Rudy and Mike. Rudy and Mike delivered to us at our destination. They were so efficient and they even remembered which rooms things came from in the pickup location! Professional careful and personable. Lite moving and sons was the most fantastic and professional company I’ve ever dealt with. From the day I met Frank Sr. To speaking with Louise and Anthony on the phone I felt I was in good hands. 2 days before the move we spoke about everything. We were Moving from our house of 26 years to an apartment. Saturday at 7:45 am our 3 young men showed up. Luis,Oscar and Orlando made the move seamless. Very professional and very respectful, made the move in 61/2hrs. They packed everything and unwrapped everything very neatly and even removed all the excess packaging after they were finished. We had paid for a 7 hour move and 3 days later a refund check came in the mail for the initial overpayment. I will certainly recommend them for anyone that wants a perfect moving experience.

Lite Moving was a pleasure to work with, from beginning to end. They made everything so easy. Frank and Anthony are the owners and are so nice and explain everything that's going to be done. We had Luis, Ramone and Oscar do our moving from our one house to Virginia. They are awesome. Our daughter used them when she moved and that's why we picked them again. They disassembled and assembled everything back in our new home.I would definitely recommend Lite Moving and Sons. I am so very pleased with the whole process. Thank you to everyone at that business. LM & Sons were amazing from start to finish. We relocated from Long Island to Raleigh, NC in April 2024. The customer service and care exceeded our expectations. I've had to move 3 times in the past 10 years. The first time I used LM (then Lite Moving & Sons) was based on a recommendation. The other two were because this team is the most professional, honest, fastest and fairly priced around.My last move was complex. There were furniture and boxes going to two different locations - some to storage, some to my new apartment. Frank and Anthony had it all organized, and David and his crew were unbelievable - nothing was a problem and everything was taken care of in record time.If you need to move - you need LM & Sons!

We had the absolute best experience - right from the initial estimate when Frank came over to go over everything with us, putting us at ease and giving us valuable tips along the way; to working with Anthony & Louise, who set everything up so smoothly and even helped us get the insurance certificate within minutes, and finally the very BEST moving team ever Luis, Dave, Orlando & Mike. They were awesome - very fast & efficient, thorough & careful, friendly & smiling all while working very hard!!Couldn't have asked for more. We've moved multiple times recently and this was by far the most stress-free, efficient move, and unlike our prior moves there were no hidden charges added on at the end. Everything was as Frank explained at the onset with the estimate being down to the T. If you're moving, go with them and you will not regret it!! Thank you all again for a job well done!

We highly recommend this terrific moving company. We interviewed several different companies and was very impressed with Frank’s presentation. He was honest and informative and he spent a good amount of time with us going over many details. On a number of occasions I had to call Anthony to review specifics and each time he put me at ease….his response each time was “ no problem”.The move itself went very smoothly. Special shout out to a great team. Oscar, Guillermo, Rakel and Orlando. Words cannot express how happy we were that we chose Lite Moving &Sons to move our belongings from Wantagh to Florida. We loved the fact from the start that it is a family owned & run business. We felt confident with the company when Frank came to our home to not only give us an estimate but explained from beginning to end the process We so appreciated the personal touch and all the booklets to explain in detail everything we needed to know. Along the way , any questions we did have, Anthony was always a phone call away to give us the answer and any reassurance (if we needed). Came moving day in Wantagh a team of four guys including Mike and George entered our home with complete professionalism , along with the support and knowledge of how stressful moving could be for a family. We once again were put at ease knowing we were in great hands.Our furniture and boxes were handled with the utmost respect and organization second to none.We had no doubt we made the right decision hiring Lite Movers .When the moving truck pulled up to our Florida home, there was no doubt in our mind that all would be okay…. we were in good hands. It even brought tears to my eyes to see my (prized possession) grandfather clock made it all intact and beautiful as ever. I knew if anyone could accomplish that it would be the team from Lite Movers . Thank you seems so small a term for all we felt knowing they were our moving company. Everybody that I came in contact during my move with Lite Moving Inc was exceptional the dad came for the estimate he was so so professional his estimate was on point. Then the crew came to pack and move they were so efficient, friendly and paid attention to details. To top it off my delivery was ontime there was not a single scratch or anything broken. Luiz and Ramon both finalized the moving experience with a bang they both did an exceptional job. Thanks a million guys job well done. I just used them. They picked up my belongings from Long Island, NY to Wesley Chapel know Tampa. This took place on October 12. They’re professional, kind and quick. I flew into Florida on the 14th and had my belongings in my new place on Saturday 21 of October. Anthony and his Dad were transparent and George was very kind. Would recommend highly!

Hi Anthony, It is never too late to give a review.Using your company to move us out of Long Island to Lewes, Delaware was definitely the right choice for the following reasons -1. Anthony you and your father were very organized, professional and you try your best for the client.2. We are only as good as our team - movers were diligent workers with care to our stuff they were moving into their 18 Wheeler. They all were in sync to get it done with no rest.3. We really had an excellent experience with this company. Our three movers, Luis, Orlando and Ramon could not have worked harder without denting a piece. We were moving from a four bedroom house with big pieces but only 2-3 valuable one and it was going to storage. The way they loaded the unit was like watching a huge Tetrus Game getting it all into one, which seemed unlikely.Hardworking, strong, great teamwork. We feel very lucky to have been recommended to them by both the Storage unit and our Real Estate agents. They were early, respectful and understood we had a time limit. They did a great job!!!

The day I made the call to Lite moving I spoke to Louise, she seemed to understand the emotional toll moving takes on a person. She put me at ease by telling me the move would be made easy with Anthony and Frank. Frank came and did the estimate. He was amazing, he actually knew the weight of my items and he seemed to have moving in his blood, very enthusiastic. I had other estimates and I could see the immediate difference. The crew came, which consisted of George, Billy, Mike and Robbie. They were on time, professional and very hard workers. The thing that stood out most to me, from Louise to the crew is how much they liked working for Lite Movers. I can't give them enough praise, from start to finish they were amazing. They had all the qualities you want in a mover. Thank you one and all.

The movers arrived to pack me up and then unload at the time I was told. They were very efficient and were extremely patient as I decided where boxes and furniture were to be placed. I was kept informed as to when they would arrive in Florida so I had no questions. I cannot recommend enough the professionalism and helpfulness of Lite Movers throughout my move from NY to Florida. The estimate was right on target and very reasonable.

Had a great experience with L M & SONS Moving. The guys came early and were very professional. Handled our furniture with great care even when we changed our mind about where particular pieces were to go and gladly moved them to where they needed to be. There are not enough words of praise for this moving company. First: I was very organized and had packed almost everything except my kitchen (I had planned to have the movers do everything). Nothing was lost, broken etc. The moving team was professional, helpful & enabled me to relax (as much as possible). My suggestion: make one phone call only: to L & M & Sons & let them take care of your move.

I checked with several moving companies for pricing and what service was offered. I spoke with Anthony, owner and his father Frank doing estimating. Both great personalities.They were honest and straight forward with the pricing. Other companies were cheaper or more expensive. I was lerry of both extreme.I chose L&M because they were local and also had high ratings on different websites. Anthony was accommodating with a change in moving date due to change in weather conditions. His crew for my move was David Lou and Oscar, the friendliest, hard working, and quickest bunch of workers. They work as a team and really seem to enjoy their work.I was very glad I chose L&M for my move, nothing but high praises for this company.Shim

My father and I recently hired LM & Sons for a move from NY to Florida. We had lost our apartment to a botched home sale and were really in a pinch for time to get out within just a matter of days…The movers were lightning fast and their entire team was extremely professional. Even with such short notice (1 week), they were able to come load us up in only 2 hours and the delivery (which also took only 2 hours) was an impeccable 4 days later!David, Oscar, Oscar & Justin were truly moving professionals. David was our driver and he knew our furniture was very high quality just by looking at it. After the inventory, Oscar came in and we were impressed by how methodical he was in wrapping up our furniture making sure it’s protected from every angle! He even took the extra time to wrap additional padding around the bottom of our furnitures feet, which I have never seen done before. Once everything was fully protected, they ran it all down our difficult stairwell and porch with multiple tight turns as if it was a straight shot! These guys were straight hustlers sweating bullets, carrying 2-3 boxes at a time.Originally, they told me it could be up to 2 weeks for delivery but to my surprise it ended up being only a mere 4 days later! Still can’t believe how fast we got our stuff! David drove everything down and Carl helped with the unload. I was busy traveling with my father and was unable to receive the delivery myself, but we coordinated everything and they did a really great job! Everything arrived in tact and without any damage!As they were leaving, literally pulled out of our development… I noticed from a photo that my fathers dresser was put in the wrong room due to a miscommunication. I contacted David immediately and although they had left, he was super happy to help! He turned the truck around and came back just to reposition the dresser in the right place for us! Now that’s A+++ Service!!!Anthony & his father Frank really went out of their way to help us and make sure everything went smoothly. This was everything you want a moving job to be! Hoping we don’t have to move again for quite some time, but confident I’ll know exactly who to call! Great Job guys! Thank you again!

Lite Movers were incredibly helpful. They made sure they listened to all of our needs for the move. Even with last minute changes, it did not phase them. We recently moved my 90+ year old mother-in-law from LI to Albany. LM & Sons did all the packing and the long haul up state. The 4 people who packed up her house were very professional, efficient, and responsive.The next day Rudy and Bill arrived in Albany right on time (8 AM!), as promised. They worked really hard to unload the truck and to set up the apartment exactly the way my m-i-l wanted. They were patient, kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and they gave suggestions that made sense.What could have been a nightmare move turned out to be a real pleasure at a competitive price. THE BEST from someone with lots of moving experience !!!Lit is a multi-generational family business so they take enormous pride in their business, Over many years, I've used 3 local movers & several others that werent LI based and Lite is THE BEST!!! Here's why:1. they come to the house to personally assess everything you have for their quote & inventory it all on moving day2. they are fairly priced and very accommodating. My move was from Atlantic Beach to a a LB rental as well as another separate trip to our home in PA. We had potential weather issues that they were prepared for with affordable solutions3. They are very communicative and always were back in touch promptly when we contacted them4. The movers themselves were friendly which comes from the way the business is run. People are happy if they enjoy where they work & who they work with. Other movers Ive had experience with weren't as pleasant to work with.I WOULD ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

My wife and I recently used Lite Movers to move a significant amount of furniture, tools and machinery from Port St Lucie Florida to Hilton Head South Carolina. The entire process was flawless. Oscar, Dave and Anthony were extremely organized and supported last minute items that were extremely difficult to transfer. This is a 5 star operation and should be considered if you want an extremely professional team.

These are the movers you want. My family has used LM a few times now. Frank and Anthony set up the details. David, Oscar, Billy, and Nick took care of the move, which went quickly and smoothly. These guys are fast! But they didn’t rush anything. They made sure each piece of furniture was exactly where I wanted. The floor had just been refinished and there was not one mark. We moved some boxes ahead of time so the actual move came in way under the estimate. Since they charge based on time, I was able to save a lot of money. They didn’t try to sell me any boxes I didn’t need. They were professional, speedy, and friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better moving experience. These guys really care about their customers! -Jeanne

I would give ten stars if I could. My wife and I personally used Lite Moving & Sons for two moves in 2020, bringing stuff down from upstate into storage and then moving from storage into our newly renovated home several months later. Both moves were flawless and teams were professional and courteous. We used them again this past week to move my elderly mother into an assisted living facility, and then back into her apartment less than a week later. The responsiveness and flexibility to work with me on short notice and make available both times their incredible team of David and Oscar were truly extraordinary. Again, the movers hustled and were professional and pleasant to work with. I can't say enough about Anthony who moved heaven and earth to get us out of a predicament when we had to move my mom back on one day's notice. He truly thought outside the box and moved some things around on the same day I called to make the move happen. We are customers for life, for sure. I can't recommend them high enough for your moving needs.

THIS REVIEW IS LONG OVERDUE. I USED LITE MOVERS TO MOVE ME FROM LONG ISLAND TO FLORIDA. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. THE GUYS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY MADE ME VERY AT EASE WITH THIS MOVE. ANTHONY WAS SO INFORMATIVE AND PATIENT WITH ME FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. THEY WERE ON TIME WHEN THEY CAME TO MY APARTMENT THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AS THEY DID IT. Ive had 2 experiences with this moving company and have no complaints. These guys are so nice and are so helpful. Both of my moves were to Florida and they are reassuring my stuff will make it safe. I did pack most of my things but there were some things they re packed for me so they wouldn't get damaged. All the men are vaccinated which made us feel even better about them being in and out of the house.If anyone needs a long distance move these are the guys to do it!

Best moving experience I have ever had. I moved from NY to FL and Lite Moving and Sons were the perfect team, making my move beyond easy and fast! They were very professional, on time, packed up my things in the blink of an eye, and all my belongings arrived at my home in Florida in perfect condition. My husband and I just moved from New York to Florida. LM &Sons are any amazing moving company. They arrived on time to pick up our boxes and furniture. They delivered to Florida within 2 days of our arrival. The movers were courteous and friendly. Nothing broke and they were careful with the unpacking. David and his team were the best crew I have ever worked with. LM & Sons absolutely blows all other movers I have ever dealt with completely out of the water. There is absolutely no comparison - none. Impeccable job by David, Rahim, Bill, Marcus and 2 other gentlemen whose names I did not catch. The estimate process was the best I’ve seen. The itemization of items to move and the best way to pack and transport was much appreciated. I hired lite moving for a local move. There were plenty of items to move in a small space of time. I allowed them to remained in my home while I went to my house closing. When I arrived back I found the crew of 6 men busy at work packing moving trucks to move to my new home with minimal supervision and little to no direction. It was awesome. The communication was there, the customer service was there and knowledgeable staff made my move a smooth one! Much appreciated guys keep up the good work!!!

We moved out of our home of 40+ years to another State. Anthony and his team were extremely helpful -- they delivered moving boxes to our home prior to the move and checked in with us to see where they could help. Move out day went quick and our anticipated move in day ended up sooner than originally planned. We were delighted. Their prices were fair and the service perfect. If we move again they will be our choice for movers.

Lite Moving & Sons were professional from start to finish. We moved from Long Island, NY to Boynton Beach, FL on March 4th. The crew of 5 arrived exactly on the agreed time. All wearing masks for Covid. They got to work immediately and were very respectful of us and our belongings.They finished in the time that Anthony L said they would.Mike ran the crew and explained everything easily and was very thorough.March 8th a 2 man crew arrived and unloaded and also did a great job. These 2 guys were from the original 5 man crew. So we knew them.Very comfortable and professional. Also the price came in under what was originally quoted . I have never left a review of anyone or anythingusually because there's always something negative to say.But Lite Movers are the REAL DEAL. You can trust them .Scott

A LITE MOVE IS THE RIGHT MOVE!This stellar review is long overdue. My apologies to Anthony, Frankie, Beth and their excellent crew. From the first phone call to Lite, as well as all of those after, all of them understood and were sensitive to the reason for this move.Our daughter used the services of Lite Movers in Jan 2020 for a local move and for storage at their facility. It was a move charged with emotions but Mike L. and the wonderful crew guys uplifted the mood with their upbeat attitude and humor. They were efficient, professional, and on time - all that you want to go right on moving day.In August 2020, our daughter used them again for another local move and to reclaim her furniture that had been in storage with them. That was another perfect moving day. And it was great to see Mike L. again and some old “friends.” That move went off without a hitch and, again, upbeat, positive, and professional.

Frank, Anthony, David, Billy and the rest of the guys are outstanding. My questions were answered and my fears were quelled. My move and my belongings were handled with care, respect and professionalism. Special shout out to David who managed the packing, move out, drove the truck from NY to NC and supervised the move in. His patience, humor and kindness made this long distance move a breeze! I highly recommend them!

I was recommended to LM & Sons Moving. From the quick response for a quote to the manner of the owner Anthony, I could tell I was dealing with an owner that cared. Got a competitive quote and they were moving us from a decent sized house in Merrick (with a LOT of stuff) to a 3/4 story walk up in Long Beach. There are 44 total steps to the master bedroom floor.The follow up by Anthony and his staff was great, they were able to meet my date, today, Jan 15th. With the amount of furniture to take apart to move up 4 flights and the amount of goods, Anthony recommended 6 guys. I thought at first that was a lot, but let me explain.As guys were taking apart and wrapping furniture, others were moving stuff to the truck. Same thing on the move in end. Watching these guys carry really heavy loads up 4 flights was inspiring. I've been bringing stuff over for 3 weeks and by the time you are on your 4th or 5th journey, up those stairs, you need oxygen.Anyway, they were scheduled to come at 8AM today, got there at 7:35AM, walked thru our house and marked everything and where it would be going. The 6 guys, from the lead, Frank Jr., JJ, Rudy, Michael, Billy and Jason, were probably some of the nicest, most professional, caring guys I ever worked with. Respectful of our stuff, they got us out of the house in about 2 hours. On the move in side, just amazing teamwork working with us to place everything EXACTLY we were wanted it. They finished up 90 minutes earlier than the estimate, and we are getting back a nice amount of the estimate back. Anthony, was right, having great teamwork from 6 guys, especially in a tough move in apartment, was totally right move. They were done by 12;40PM. 5 hours to move a lifetime of stuff, perfectly, nothing broken, and truly the nicest guys to work with.I totally recommend this company and will use them again in a flash, except I hope not for a good while. Packing and moving still is not easy, but with a company like this, once you are ready, you are in GREAT hands.

Lite Moving and sons took all the stress out of our moving experience - they were absolutely fantastic!! From the moment Frank came to our home to do an estimate, it was apparent that this is a business that cares about their customers and operates with extreme attention to detail and high quality. Frank took the time to do a thorough review of our home to provide the estimate and spent time making sure we understood all the details of the move. Once we booked the move, Anthony proactively reached out to us to confirm the details and was always available to answer any questions we had. We used LM to pack our kitchen and artwork - they were on time, everyone introduced themselves, they worked quickly and were professional and pleasant. Again both on the day we moved out of our home and when the furniture was delivered to our new home, the team showed up on time, and we had the same great experience. The entire job was extremely professional, efficient and we knew we were in good hands. Lite Moving and Sons are amazing and I highly, highly recommend them.

This is a top notch company. Lite Moving and Sons moved my Mom down from Lynbrook to North Carolina. Before hearing about LM & Sons I was fully convinced that we should just rent a pod and hire movers to move out and then again to move in once the pod got to NC. I got referred to LM & Sons from a close family friend who had used them to move from Lynbrook to South Carolina. When I gave them a call, I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Frank. Frank ran the business for many years and he spent so much time taking care and answering all of my questions. The service was unparalleled. Meanwhile, it took me 30 minutes on hold when I tried to reach the pods company. So right from the start, the experience was a lot better. Frank handed me off to his son Anthony who kept the service level at the same standard his father set. Anthony was prompt, courteous, and very helpful. The move itself went so smooth. Anthony's team arrived right on time and was very careful in how they handled all of my Mom's stuff. And a few days later it was fully moved in to her new home in NC. The icing on the cake is, when all said and done, the cost for this full service moving was right in line with what we would have paid for a pod + movers at each location. But LM & Sons took care of everything and we didn't have to stress. I give them my highest recommendation. Thanks guys.

My daughter needed her queen bedroom set moved from the first floor to the second floor of her house. After calling many local movers, that would not do this small job, I called Lite Movers. Anthony was very accommodating to schedule around painters. The crew showed up on time and they were the most respectful, professional guys I have ever dealt with!!
